Villa Majella Maternity Home provides a safe, nurturing living environment, in a residential group home, that can accommodate five women through their pregnancy and 3-6 months after delivery. Depending on need, residents may extend their stay for up to 1 year, while they prepare for their transition into a life of increasing independence and responsibility. This phase may include work, schooling, obtaining a vehicle and finding suitable housing.
We furnish food, toiletries, maternity clothing, and baby items for those without resources. We also refer eligible women to government and non-government assistance programs such as the Food Bank of SB and WIC (The Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants and Children).
Each resident develops an individual plan of action. We refer women to community resources that can assist them with medical care, finance, legal help, employment, education, childcare, transportation and housing.
Join our community by filling out our resident application. Once your application has been reviewed, our executive director will get in touch with you to go forward with the interview process.
